How to upload files using the FileZilla FTP client.
After downloading FileZilla, enter your domain name in the “Host” field or IP address. Enter the name and password you created in your Site Tools> Site> FTP Accounts. The FTP port is 21. After doing all the above, press Quickconnect to connect.
You are now logged in to your hosting account.
On the right side of the FTP client window, you will be able to see a list of files and folders on your account.
From this panel you will be able to navigate to the folder where you want to upload the new files.
After that, select the desired files from the panel on the left side you have to right-click on them and choose “Upload”.
When the upload is ready, the files will be logged in the Successful Transfer tab which is at the bottom of the panel.
How to download files using the FileZilla FTP client.
To download the files to your computer, first thing first, you need to log in to your hosting account – just like when you uploaded the files. In the right panel you can navigate to the folder in your hosting account, and in the left panel you can navigate to the location on your computer where you want to download the files. Right-click on them and press Download.
The download will start automatically. When it is ready you will see the files in your computer.
